u11's win Rushcliffe Indoor Tournament
Radcliffe on Trent u11's completed an excellent winter Indoor Programme by winning the Rushcliffe Indoor Tournament at Bingham Leisure Centre.
Played over 12 weeks the team battled through to the finals day. In the semi final the boys played exceptionally well to beat a strong Kimberley team. In the final against Notts & Arnold u13 girls the boys just managed to pull off a win. With the final ball to be faced the scores were level with Radcliffe's last batsman at the wicket. With a cool head the ball was played onto the side wall for a single.
Team manager Barry Trussler was highly delighted as the boys who were brought in to cover unavailabilies performed outstandingly.
Radcliffe wish to record their thanks to the organisors who over the 12 weeks had given up a lot of time to ensure the tournament was a success.
