Radford were worthy 2-1 winners in the FA Vase on Saturday. Both sides were playing some good passing football but Radford were the better side in the first half and took the lead from a Carey Knight goal on 12 minutes.
The second half saw Radford again on top and South Normantons keeper made several important saves. Jahred Russell scored Radfords second goal on 70 minutes. The visitors came more into the game in the last 20 minutes and scored on 83 minutes through Lee Fell. A shout for a South Normanton penalty was turned down by the referee just before he whistled for full time.
