Radford were outdone by the speed and energy of a young Borrowash side. In the early minutes Radfords Sweeting was played in, he ran in towards goal rounded the keeper and he placed the ball wide of an empty goal. Radford were punished minutes later when from a corner Kirk Francis stooped to head the ball into the home goal. Five minutes later Borrowash were 0-2 up when Mark Greene scored On 20 minutes Radford pulled a goal back when Meakin slid the ball to Jake Morris in the area and the striker made no mistake from 15 yards out. Tom Lewis was causing havoc for the Radford defence and it was him who fed Simeon Lawrence to put the Vics 1-3 up. on 38 minutes Vics were awarded a penalty and it was Greene who made no mistake from the spot kick.

Radford did not give up and came back at Borrowash in the second half. On 57 minutes Radford were awarded a penalty which Joe Meakin blasted into the corner of the net. Liam Motson came on as a Radford substitute and was upended in the area for another Radford penalty on 70 minutes. Once again Meakin scored to put the scores at Radford 3 Borrowash 4. Vics went on the attack and from a corner kick the ball was headed out to the edge of the area to Josh Ross who hit a scorching volley past the stranded Radford keeper.
With just a couple of minutes left on the clock Mark Greene raced through to score his third and Vics sixth of the game.
