Rhys Watkinson Joins
Young Goalkeeper Makes Switch From League Rivals
Radford completed the signing of young talented Goalkeeper Rhys Watkinson from fellow East Midland Counties side Gedling MW earlier this week, Rhys who has only just turned 18 was on the bench in Tuesday night's win over Ellistown. Radford Manager Rawden was delighted to have snapped keeper Rhys up and believes the young stopper will provide a real test for current number one Jack Harvey to keep his shirt "competition for shirts is very important and Rhys fits the bill of mine in trying to attract the best young players in the area to this football club."
