Hard earned point at Stapenhill

Stapenhill were difficult opponents and were equal to Radford in every department. Centre back pairing Hore and Desrosiers did well to stop Stapenhills Hart from adding to the five goals he scored at the weekend. But his strike partner Rejewski got the games opener on 21 minutes. Stapenhill had the better of play for most of the first half but Radford had a good period from 35 minutes up to half time. In this period Kenny Reeves got Radfords equaliser after a Joe Meakin free kick rebounded back off a post and he was quickest to react.

Radford had more possession in the second half but lack of pace upfront reduced the amount of goal scoring opportunities. Luke Edge made a couple of important saves to keep out Stapenhill who also had two shots hit a Radford goal post. In the end it finished all square which was richly deserved point for both sides.
