Radford FC enjoyed back to back wins at Selhurst Street with a 2-1 win over another Leicestershire based side in 8th placed Anstey Nomads.
Radford Manager Rawden made two changes to the starting line up from Tuesday Night with Adam Mahl replacing Carl Shepard at center half and Ashley Marshall Replacing Luke Dawkins at center forward.
Radford started the game brightly and had Richard Dean to thank for the openiong goal with a well placed shot from a half cleared corner, Radford's young energetic side allowed Anstey back into the game with a free header that led to the equaliser with a free shot inside the 6 yard box.Young Danny Pownall replaced mid week hero Nick Labbatte who came off with a reocuring ankle injury.
With the scores level at half time, It was end to end stuff as both sides searched for a goal.
The second half was entertaining and Radford had to shuffle the pack as first Richard Dean came off with a dead leg followed by Adam Walsh with a back injury, the winner came with a fantastic move down the right flank and the ball landed to Danny Pownall who fired home his first goal for the club.
Radford ran the clock down and will go into next saturdays 6 pointer at Graham St Primms full of confidence.
After the match new Coach Mark Draper was full of praise having watched his first game in the clock stand and cant wait to get on the training pitch.
