Quality wins through
Radford battled bravely in their FA Cup game on Saturday. Their was not much between the sides in the first half with few goalscoring opportunities. The home side did manage to get the only goal of the half when Lewis Bemrose opened the scoring on 37 minutes. The second half began with Bottesford starting the strongest. Radford were caught cold when a good passing move along the left wing ended with a cross into the area where Jack McMenemy made it 2-0. Bottesford continued to have the better of the game with Radford having few scoring chances. Radford made 2 substitutions on 74 Minutes and became more of a threat going forward. The Radford defence and Joe Searson Smithard in goal were performing heroics.
As the game was coming to a close Radfords Cardell Labban found space in the area to score. In a desperate attempt to find a late equaliser
Simon Hore moved from defence to attack for the final minutes. Two minutes into time added on a long ball out from the Bottesford defence found Dayle Hutson who ran on to slot the ball into the net.
