Radford reserves had a good away win on the opening game of the season at Holbrook St Michaels in August, and on Saturday they put 6 goals past the hard worked keeper. In the early minutes of the game Aaron Pegg worked himself two opportunities to score but on both occasions he struck an upright. Kai McArthur and Matthew Corbett had chances but blazed over the bar. On ten minutes Corbett followed up when the keeper could not hold on to a shot and tapped the ball into the net to give Radford the lead. Despite the home sides pressure the away side managed to go in at half time just one goal down.
Radford Lost Liam Motson to injury but his replacement Ryan Fowler scored twice to put the home side 3-0 in the lead. The visitors pulled a goal back midway into the half through Jordan Abbott before Radfords Matthew Corbet struck to record his second goal of the game. Aaron Peggs hard work paid off as he found the back of the net on two occasions to make up for his first half misses.
