Bob had been ill for a long time, and in recent months his and wife Tina's visits to Kirklington Road had of necessity become fewer and further between.
They also liked to travel with the 'Wandering Wrens' to away matches whenever they could, although here again these outings had been curtailed over the past year.
The club sends its sincere condolences and sympathy to Tina at this time, and apologises for the fact that this news was not posted on the site before now, due to holidays.
Bob's funeral will take place at Mansfield Crematorium (Thoresby chapel) at 12.15pm on Friday, 10th June.
