Pitch inspection - plus Wrens add two

11 months ago By Gordon Foster

Tomorrows home game against Bridlington Town will be subject to a 10am pitch inspection.

Should the match go ahead, the Wrens are likely to welcome one of the two new players signed this week, manager Craig Denton having at last secured the signature of long time target, Worksop Town striker Kyle Jordan.
However, fellow new boy, defender Brad Jones from Bolsover Town, will not be available this weekend, while right back Rob Ludlam serves a one-match ban for an accumulation of bookings.
On Wednesday night the Wrens travel to old Evo-Stik League rivals Carlton Town in the Notts Senior Cup, but if tomorrow's game is off, then Ludlam's suspension will carry over to the cup tie.
As soon as a decision is made on the state of play for tomorrow, an update will be posted on the website, and also on social media.
