Lands:
RRFC are now in the process of buying the lands at Curragha, and we will now finally have somewhere to call home. This is the first step in a huge development facing the club but it at least secures our future for this and coming generations of young (and old) rugby players in Ratoath. I would like to thank the land sub-committee of Dominic, Paul and James for their exceptional hard work with many knockbacks over the last few years. Well done lads.

New Season: Registration & Subs:
Registration for the new season opens on Saturday 30th August, at Curragha Road, the same day that Mini Rugby starts back for the new season. Having not changed our annual subscription for a number of years, it will be necessary to have a small increase this season. However, for those paying in September, the subscription amounts will remain at the previous rate, with the increase only applying for subscriptions received after October 1st. We would ask all members to please pay your subs early. It`s never been more important to us and is still exceptionally good value.

Rugby-thon, Family Fun Day & BBQ:
We will be once again running our Rugby-thon & Family Fun day and BBQ on Saturday September 13th. All our teams will be taking to the field as matches run through the day. Sponsorship cards will be available to all players for our sponsored rugby. It is a short lead time to get sponsorship but please support as we need to raise funds on the day. There will also be plenty of fun activities for the whole family; more details will be announced shortly. We will be looking for extra volunteers to help on the day - all offers of help warmly appreciated.

Annual Golf Outing:
The annual golf outing will take place at the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course at Killeen Castle, a former Solheim Cup venue. The outing is on Friday 10th October with a shotgun start at 12:30pm. 4 person teams @ €500 includes a superb meal after your round in the Nicklaus Room. A great array of prizes will be awarded on the day. Holes are also available for sponsorship. To book your place, contact Martin (0872580584 - martinw@delimeats.ie).
