Abbey U15s - Berks Youth League Div 1
Will you be in Year 10 at school in September 2011 and looking for a club to play for? You may be new to the area, or have just wondered what it would be like to play rugby, then why not come and train with the U15`s in the 2011 / 2012 season.
This year our squad will continue playing junior rugby, this means 60 minute games on a full size pitch with the full compliment of 15 players and subs. The majority of games are played on a friendly basis giving each boy the chance to play a part, win or lose its all about taking part and being part of the team! The coaches aim is to improve the players understanding of the game as well as their overall ability and fitness and have fun at the same time.
We have a number of new players join each season and we currently have a squad of 24 players…so if you would like to give the great game of rugby a try, come along to our training on Wednesday evenings from 7.00 –8.30pm.
Matches are held on Sunday mornings and games are played both Home and Away. Boys usually arrive at the Club at 10am with kick off at 11am, but this will be advised on a weekly basis to the boys & parents via email / website.

7 hours agoWell what can I say apart from that from a spectator’s point of view it was a great, nerve-wracking match to watch...full of drama, tension and expectation but one thing is for sure every single player put in a huge effort and it showed!
