Basingstoke Away
We are away at Basingstoke this coming weekend.
I have emailed their coach, but have not received a response just yet as to arrangements when we get there. I will update you later in the week if & when I hear anything.
There are no directions on the Basingstoke Club website, but the address is:
Down Grange
Pack Lane
Basingstoke
Hampshire
RG22 5HH
Directions per our U9's team manager:
From Reading take the A33 on arriving in Basingstoke, take the A339 Ring Way, towards the M3, join the A30 southbound (Winchester Road). Take the 4th exit at the roundabout, which is also signposted Winchester Road. This joins Pack Lane. Hopefully it is signposted off the A30.
I estimate it will take about 40 mins to get there from Emmer Green/Caversham. Please allow plenty of time travelling for a prompt start at 10 am.
Could you please let me know whether you will be travelling or not as we will need to advise Basingstoke in advance of numbers.
For those of you who are new, rugby clubs usually provide hotdogs for players after the match so we need to give them an indication of player numbers for training & catering purposes.
