At Newbury RFC we are a little crazy and like to be a bit different!
Well this summer is no exception. We are flooding our first XV pitch with sand and we will be playing beach rugby and beach netball on it!
Exclusive to Berkshire clubs I can offer you all a discounted entry price for the weekend of just £200 per team of 9 which includes camping for the weekend and full access to the music festival that will run alongside the sport! We are running adults and U19’s tournaments for rugby. This is a big discount and I hope that our fellow Berkshire Clubs will embrace our tournament.
The event is RFU accredited as a beach event and we are talking to the RFU about the winners going to represent England in the Beach Rugby World Series that is being established. We are getting a lot of interest in this event and would like Berkshire clubs to join in for less than we are charging just to attend the music festival.
The event is running just before the Olympics on the 13th to the 15th of July. All teams will be given a Rhino beach match ball.
