Youth Tournaments
For this coming 2011-12 season, Reading RFC are running two festivals for both Mini and Junior sections.
Both tournaments will cater for A and B strength teams competing in separate ability appropriate competitions. Both tournaments will run morning and afternoon sessions to minimise players standing around between matches and it is anticipated that each individual age group competition will be concluded within a 2-4 hour time window.
The Junior Tournament will be held on Sunday 2nd October and will follow a 12 a-side format.
The Mini Tournament will be held on Sunday 16th October and will follow Continuum Mini / Midi formats.
We are anticipating close to 4,000 visitors across both days. If you are interested in competing in or sponsorship support for either or both of these festivals, please contact Mark Alexander in the first instance at youthfixtures@readingrfc.co.uk.
