Before the 1st XV game versus Cheltenham, we will be holding a Charity Lunch to raise much needed funds for Action For Children, Reading RFC official charity of the 2011 – 2012 season. If you wish to know about Action For Children and the excellent work they do please visit www.actionforchildren.org.uk We have also set up a Charity section on our website, and throughout the year we will posting how we are supporting this Charity.
This will be a 3 course lunch held in the Knight Hall starting from 12 midday, the cost will be £15 per person. We will holding a Raffle and an auction on the day and all proceeds will go to Action For Children. If you are interested in attending this lunch please email Chairman@ReadingRFC.co.uk
In support of Action For Children Craig Hunter, RRFC Chairman & Katie Astbury from C8 Consulting RRFC PR Partner and Reading Ladies player, will be taking part in Byte Night 2011 on Friday 7th October. Byte Night is the IT industry’s annual sleep out in support of Action for Children. Each year hundreds of individuals and teams from across the IT and business community spend a night exposed to the elements in a bid to raise sponsorship and awareness of Action for Children’s work.
