Real United v Blidworth Welfare 2-1
The first chance of the game came Blidworth's way in the fifth minute. Moult turned his man just outside the Real Utd box and hit a shot that went wide of the post. Real United then had a series of attacks in the next ten minutes but it was from a corner that they opened the scoring. Marcus Buck took the inswinging corner but although the keeper looked to have clawed the ball away, the linesman signalled the ball had crossed the line.1-0
Around the twenty minute mark Real United went 2-0 up. Fine work on the wing led to a low cross into the box where a superb strike from Kieran Whalin beat the keeper. The game switched from end to end until on the 40th minute when Blidworth's Shelton raced free into the box before being pulled back for a penalty. Tom Moult took the spot kick but hit it wide of the goal. HT 2-0
Blidworth started the second half the better team and on 50 minutes pulled a goal back. A 25 yard effort from Keenan Leeds was partially saved but Shelton followed up to get the visitors on the scoresheet. The visitors upped their game in search of an equaliser. They had the ball in the net when Moult finished a four man move but Moult was judged to be offside. Real were counter attacking but on too many occasions they were caught offside.
Two minutes from time Blidworth were harshly judged to be offside. Moult was standing in a offside position but made no attempt to run towards a through ball, Craig Shield ran through from an onside position but the linesman flagged for offside. The visitors were furious and Moult was booked for his protest. FT 2-1
