Jovan came to the Rebels at the young age of 19 in 2009. Immediately Jovan showed off his athleticism and speed. Jovan was a raw talented player who quickly picked up the sport. Jovan is a very respectful person who from his first day as a Rebel addressed the veterans of the team as sir. His first season with the Rebels impressed so much that he was chosen by some AFL Ontario Management to head over to Australia as an exchange player. He landed in Australia in 2011 and spent 10 months learning the game and getting comfortable with his sponsored club, the Gordon Eagles. He has played a total of 10 games abroad. Now at the ripe old age of 26 Jovan continues to show that he is one of the most dedicated people out there. He puts himself in every play and out runs most of the opposition. Recently Jovan brought out his younger brother Dayvon, also 19, and the two have been dubbed the Love Brothers. Jovan mentors his younger brother and leads by example.

Always the respectful man Jovan has earned the respect of his club and his team mates over the years and is an intricate part of the Rebels both on and off the field. Congratulations on this awesome first major team milestone.
