This time it's Mick Sheedy's turn, A Geelong native known as Joshy 2, Kennedy, Jesus and other names that seem to be added to the list each week!
This week I talked to Josh Kennedy uhh... Mick Sheedy, known for his hair, shiny boots and looks he's another new Aussie to the Rebels line-up this season.
So Sheeds, how did you hear about the Rebels?
Google. I got sick of sitting at a computer all day and wanted to do something active other than running so I Googled AFL teams that play in Toronto and train near where I live (don't want to be too active). I found the Blues and the Rebels. One night out on the sauce with Morgan and a couple of the other boys and I was in.
What is it you enjoy most about the sport?
It doesn't really matter if you're bad at parts of it. If you just get in there and give it everything you've got you can still feel like you had a good game. I think that partly comes from the fact that for the most part, anything goes. You've got the opportunity to just go nuts, I love going in hard for the ball and chasing down the opposition and tackling them.
When did you start playing footy and for what team?
I never really have unless you count PE in high school. So I guess I started this year. Can you tell?
How do you think the rebels will do this season?
We've got a really strong side and getting stronger every week so I reckon we're gonna do well.
Which club do you support in the AFL and why?
Easy, Geelong because I grew up there. Great place to grow up but also a great place to grow out of.
Favourite AFL Player?
Don't really have one but used to love watching Ablett senior play. Yes, I'm that old.
What has been your favourite rebels moment so far?
The first night we met. It was a big night!
Footy clubs are full of characters, name a Rebel you think falls in this category and why?
Frenchy. I think it's the accent.
Well there you have it for this week Ladis and Gents, Hope to see you all Sunday!
