The Toronto Rebels will celebrate another milestone this weekend when Division 2 captain Ed "Chook" Wickham takes the field. Chook will play his 50th game for the club this Saturday against the Broadview Hawks, becoming the 37th Rebel to reach the milestone. Chook joined the club in 2009 and quickly found a regular spot in the line-up amongst a group of talented Aussies, proving himself as a reliable defender with the ability to take strong marks and kick the ball long. In 2013, Chook decided to focus on the newly formed Rebels Division 2 team and was instrumental in helping them reach the finals in their first season. Always one to lead by example, Chook was deservedly voted Divison 2 best and fairest. Now in 2014, Chook has stepped up to take over the captaincy of Division 2 and will once again be a big part of the campaign.
