Redbridge in the Community
Redbridge FC have teamed up with a local disabled charity "Uniting Friends" which has seen it's members come down to the ground on several ocasions to watch a match. For the coming 2011/12 season we will be looking at working more closely with the group
Uniting Friends is a social inclusion project for adults with learning difficulties living in the London Borough of Redbridge and surrounding boroughs. In January 2011 they due to building works at their Ilford offices required a base they could use for their day to day activities and decided to use the club house at the Oakside Stadium. Their vision is for a world which recognises values and celebrates the lives and equal participation of people with a learning disability in society.
