Redbridge FC Capital league side were beaten last night 0-1 at Potters Bar Town.

Redbridge suffered there first Capital League defeat in a closely contested contest at Potters Bar Town on Wednesday evening.

Redbridge suffered a blow as early as 10 minutes when Kenneth Orenuga injured his back and had to be replaced.

The first effort on goal during the evening fell to David Lahrichi, which brought off a good save by Lee Newcomb. On 33 Leon Diaczuk had a long range effort saved. On the half time whistle again Diaczuk had another effort saved from a free kick. On 49 Dar in the home attack hit in to the side netting. On the hour Redbridge pushed hard for a goal and had a succession of corners. Redbridge started to dominate, but were caught out on 82 when a long ball was played through Penny and Dickinson was adjudged to have fouled him in the box and the assistant referee had no hesitation in flagging for a penalty. Substitute Kieran Preddie scored to Newcomb's right. With 2 minutes to go Dickinson's header was well saved.

The capital league side are back in action next Thursday when they host AFC Hornchurch at Oakside with a 7.45pm kick off.
