Redbridge Capital league side went down 5-1 at home to Harlow Town tonight, our goal coming from Christian Perry.

A young Redbridge side were taught a lesson by a good and rganised Harlow Town outfit on Thursday night at Oakside.

Harlow took the lead after 4 minutes when Pepe Sadika picked the ballup after a keeper error to score in to an empty net. Redbridge held there own under pressure and almost went 2 down on 20 when Wheeler headed just wide from a corner. On 25 Redbridge were back on level terms when a ball from the left was met by Perry Christian. Redbridge held out for only 4 minutes when Joe Stevens volleyed into the roof of the net. Within seconds Christian was just wide with another effort. 6 minutes into the second half Harlow made it 3-1 when a good move was finished off by substitute Jamie Richards. 4 minutes later it was 4-1 Alfie Branch scored a fine individual goal. Redbridge did not throw the towel in and Burrell and Salmon had late chances. In the final seconds of the game Richards scored his second of the evening when he ran through to slot home.
