Today the FA released The FA National League System Steps 1 to 4 allocations for the upcoming 2011-12 season, which made some changes to our league.

For the second season in a row no team has been relegated from the Ryman Division One North with bottom of the table Waltham Forest breathing a big sigh of relief as the resignations of both Glapwell FC and Retford United from the Northern Premier League led to both themselves and Beaconsfield SYCOB being reprieved from the relegation to Step 5.

Chatham Town also earned a reprieve due to a vacancy at Step 4 and move into our division from the Ryman Division One South. Chatham were last in our division 2 seasons ago and we welcome them back to the league again.

Enfield 1893 return to the league for the first time in their current stature with Leiston as expected joining after romping to victory in the Eastern Counties League.

Surprisingly Ware have been transferred into the Southern League Division One Central for the 2011/12 season, although rumours suggest they may appeal the decision.

Please bear in mind that changes may be made between now and August across the various leagues, but for now the current league line up for the Ryman League Division One North next season is as follows.

Aveley - Relegated from Premier Division
AFC Sudbury
Brentwood Town
Cheshunt
Chatham Town - Moved from Ryman Division One South
Enfield 1893 - Promoted from Essex Senior League

So from looking at that, we still have several local derby's to look forward to, in which everyone at the club hopes Terry Spillane can lead us up the table and get us challenging once again.
