In the first half Redcar played into a strong diagonal wind from the NW, and soon got the scoreboard ticking over with tries from Kieran McMahon, Mark Patterson & Kieran McMahon again. All three were converted by Liam Rogers.

Halftime Score 21 – 0.

In the second half Redcar went further ahead with a try from Danny Addison. Then from a mistake from Redcar, Yarm then scored an opportunist converted try from within their own 22. This was just a temporary halt to the Redcar try spree, as further tries were scored by Brad Stovell, Mark Reed and another from Mark Patterson. Danny Addison also scored two more to earn him a hat trick, Liam Rogers & Kieran McMahon added 4 more conversions between them, to make the Final Score

A good result for Redcar with a much improved performance, but they will have to face stiffer tests before the end of the season.
