The FA Charter Standard Scheme is a core component of The FA Football Development programme. The scheme establishes minimum standards for football development and acts as a quality assurance mechanism recognising well run schools, colleges, clubs and holiday courses.

As a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing experience for all.

In summary the FA Charter Standard rewards organisations who demonstrate a commitment to raising standards in the following areas:

  • Administration
  • Coaching

In order to become a Charter Standard Community Club, The Clarry Football Club have achieved the following:

  • Built a Players Committee with a Chairman and Vice-Chair
  • A Constitution
  • Financial Management
  • A Code of Conduct
  • Insurance
  • An Equity Policy
  • FA Child Protection Policy
  • Personnel Disclosure Forms
  • A First Aid Certificate

To sum up, all our members will recieve some of the best the county of North Riding can provide in quality of coaching, health & safety, a bright future, first class coaching facilities and much more.

The benefits for clubs achieving FA Charter Standard include:

  • £100 Umbro Voucher

  • Coach Education Bursaries
  • Use of Logos
  • In-service Training

However, maybe the most important benefit is the recognition, from The FA that the club demonstrates to all members, parents and the public that they are a well organised, safe club offering opportunities for all.
