Derby Delights at The Reds Bar This Weekend

10 months ago By Reece Hainesborough

Come on down to The Reds Bar and enjoy a weekend of LIVE football action!

This weekend is derby day at The Reds Bar, as another exciting round of Premier League football is to be shown live so you do not miss any of the action as London, Merseyside and Manchester prepare to do battle live on Sky Sports.

On Saturday, the early kick-off sees struggling West Ham take on old rivals Chelsea at The London Stadium (12.30). Despite both sides being at opposite ends of the table, this match never fails to live up to expectations and it could be another thrilling encounter as West Ham desperately fight for survival, whilst Chelsea look to cement their position in the Champions League places.

There is no rest-up for anybody on Sunday afternoon, as the action re-commences with Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton (14.15). A lot was expected of both sides this season and it is fair to say they have not lived up to expectations. This gives the game an extra edge at Anfield with both sides looking to get the bragging rights in the first clash of the season. New Toffees boss Sam Allardyce will be looking to cement his place in history as Everton look to get a first win at Anfield since 1999. However Klopp’s side are unbeaten in their last eight games – making this an exciting clash between two of England’s finest clubs.

From Merseyside to Manchester in what is no doubt the game of the weekend as United take on City in arguably the biggest derby game between the sides in history. Jose Mourinho will be looking to end City’s unbeaten run (and 13 game winning streak) at Old Trafford, where as City’s surge toward the title continues and the match against their old rivals is Pep Guardiola’s biggest challenge yet. With this game having a huge impact on where the title will be heading come May, it is something that cannot be missed.

Nevertheless, The Reds Bar will be stocked with plenty of food and drink throughout the weekend for what promises to be a whirlwind of football action. So come on down to The TRICO Stadium, enjoy a pint and a burger to wet the appetite for three huge fixtures.
