Redditch returned empty-handed from league leaders King’s Lynn Town in spite of taking a half-time lead.
And to add to their woes, debutant Stuart Fleetwood was sent off, seeing red just minutes after coming off the bench to replace Pauly Apostolopoulos.
On loan midfielder Ashley Sammons handed the Reds a 36th minute lead with a stunning 30-yard strike that flew past Linetts keeper Alex Street.
Dior Angus went close to doubling the lead early in the second half but was denied by an excellent one-handed save from the Kings Lynn shot stopper.
The home side levelled from the spot on 63 minutes, Michael Clunan making no mistake after Ryan Fryatt was fouled by Gui Mailancol, and then Fryatt had a header cleared off the line.
A second penalty from Clunan, this time following Andi Thanoj’s challenge on Cameron Norman, followed on 68 minutes and the league leaders were now in control.
Ryan Jarvis hit the post before Fleetwood was shown a red card after a coming together with Town’s Ryan Hawkins.
Norman settled the match five minutes from time, scoring with a low shot via the inside of the post.
