The French central defender lined up against the Reds in pre-season while on trial for Kidderminster Harriers in the Worcestershire Senior Cup and has previously had spells at Huntingdon Town and St Neots Town and has started both league fixtures to date.

Byfield said “Gui was impressive when he played against us for Kidderminster in pre-season – he was one of the stand-out players in that game. He’s still young and learning his craft and we feel he will be able to improve here at Redditch where he can work with coach Reuben Hazell who played more than 350 Football League games in that position.
