Gavin Gordon had Rhys Hughes back in between the sticks after injury, while Conor Westney started up front, Steve Burford started on the right, with Jacob Mendy-Mendy on the bench for Redhill.
Bedfont who are looking to gain promotion after a very good season started brightly and took the lead after 2 minutes, Jamie Read finishing off well to give the home side a great start. The Lobsters were rocked by the early strike and had to re-build and find their way back into the game. Ashley Snadden with the Reds first effort of note which flew just over.
Redhill enjoyed their best period just before half time, with some pressure on the home side with a string of corners, but Sports defended them well, and at the break the Reds were a goal down.
Gavin Gordon's men made a decent start to the second half without really threatening the Sports goal, so Mendy-Mendy came on to try and add some attacking intent for the Reds. But it was the home side who found that attacking intent, and a second goal through that man Jamie Read came for Sports.
It was a long way back for Redhill at 2-0 but they kept plugging away against a very strong Bedfont side. But it was game over shortly after, Jack Mills rifling home past Rhys Hughes to make it 3-0. The Reds kept going until the end but it was another away defeat. The Reds will look to bounce back at home on Tuesday against CB Hounslow (7.45)
