Reserves Pick Up Valuable Point In Local Derby

A last minute goal denied the Reds all three points at the New Defence.

A goal good enough to grace any game by James Bessant with 10 minutes to play looked to have given Redhill all three points, but Horley hit back in added time to snatch a point.

The home side had the better of it in the first half with Redhill thankful to keeper John Searle for keeping Horley at bay with a string of fine stops. The Lobsters grew into things more in the second half as things became more even.

Bessant then found an opener for the Reds with 10 to play with a fierce drive from 35 yards which found the top corner. Redhill went mighty close to wrapping up the points with 2 minutes to play and would have but for a brilliant double save by the Horley keeper.

Heartbreak for the Lobsters came in added time as a corner was headed home past Searle to deny the Reds all three points,
