Tennis balls raised money for Alzheimers

Here is a thakyou from the Alzheimers Society for the money raised by the used tennis balls we donated via Alison Newman

On behalf of Alzheimer's Society, I would like to thank you for your kind and generous donation of £63.75. Your support is greatly appreciated and invaluable - It really is down to support such as yours that we have come so far and made so much of a difference in the lives of people with dementia and their carers.

Your support enables us to provide the advice and information sought by the thousands of people who contact us each year. On average 38,000 people visit our website each month, and last year our helpline received over 22,000 enquiries.

I don't know how I would cope if it were not for Alzheimer's Society at the other end of the phone - a carer

Having to care for a person with dementia can be a physical and emotional struggle, and our services truly are a lifeline. Your support means that we can continue to run our helpline, provide care and sustain our commitment into researching the cause, cure and care of this devastating condition.

If you would like any more information about the work of the Society, or to find out about other ways to get involved, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0330 333 0804.
