Dave Abraham took a strong squad of 20 to Halkyn for their third pre-season game in a week and the squad started to really find their feet as REMYCA hit ten past their Welsh league opponents, Halkyn United.
The scoring started early for Remy as they started playing some outstanding football, showing fluidity of movement in passing structure. Dave was only short of a couple of players for this game but the players in the line-up stepped up to the plate and the previous games against St Helens and Buckley have proved useful as earlier mistakes seen in those games were not repeated which bodes well for the squad.
The result looks great on paper but the gaffer will take much more from performances both as a team and on an individual level as the club prepare for their next pre-season game against Bootle on Wednesday night.
