Tonight sees Paul McNally's Litherland REMYCA tackle their second NWCFL First Division game of the season in a re-run of last season's playoff semi final away to Sandbach United.
After a mixed pre-season, the REMY have two wins out of two in their competitive games so far this season - winning 2-0 vs. AFC Liverpool in the FA Cup and 4-0 against Stockport Town in last week's league season opener.
Andy Hockenhull's Sandbach United began their 2017/18 campaign with a narrow 1-0 defeat away to Silsden.
They should still be on a high after last season's successful campaign - finalists in the First Division Trophy and a sixth place finish putting them in the playoff's.
Obviously, that game finished 1-0 to REMYCA last May, with Alex Ryan tucking home a 19th minute penalty which proved to be the winner.
These two clashed twice before that game, with the first match at LSP finishing 1-1 back in November and the second finishing 2-0 to the REMY in the run-in for promotion.
Tonight's game kicks off at 7.45pm at Sandbach Community Football Centre, Hind Heath Road, Sandbach, Cheshire CW11 3LZ.
