Mark Kirby, Jack Leamey, Josh Brooks and Peter Fletcher were all added to the club's playing staff as manager Paul McNally prepares his squad for the final push towards to summit of the First Division.

Speaking of the arrivals of Kirby and Leamey, McNally said, "These two lads will add even more quality to our squad.

"They can help us to achieve our target of promotion and provide even more competition for places which can only be good for us as a club."

The signings of Brooks and Fletcher are with a view to the club's future, and with the REMY's record of giving young talent an opportunity, they will develop under the gaffer's tutelage.

"The two young lads will add even more backup for us. Josh is a young goalkeeper and will look to push Ben [Morrow]on even further.

"Peter is a 17 year old with great potential, plays central midfield and is one for the future."

A busy deadline day for the REMY, and with Cheadle Town on the horizon on Saturday in the first of eleven remaining league games, there's no signs of it slowing down any time soon.
