After the Garforth game,we held a fun quiz in the Clubhouse,on RUFC seasons 2012/13 and 2013/14,players,management and supporters taking part.Unsuprisingly it was won by the management team with a very creditable score of 43/46.

The Supporters player of the season trophy was presented to worthy winner Reece Thompson, runner up Bobby Johnson with Graeme Severn 3rd.

Thanks also to supporter Charlie Bradley who donated the trophy.

The Supporters Club held an end of season meeting the Tuesday after the Garforth game.It was well attended and various topics were discussed, mainly ways to carry on forward, and,of course finances.I wont go into any detail on a public board, but you can ask any questions in person.I will say its been a very successful reformation of the SC mainly due to all the great support it has received from you the supporters.

We will be holding another meeting around pre season, more details when we have them.

Congratulations go to Ken Ashton, supporter #67 who's number came out in the end of season draw,a 2014/15 season ticket will finding its way to you when available.

Charter day was attended this year by both the first team and SC.

The first team were raising funds with the popular 'high score'football game, while the SC ran a tombola stall. Both efforts had a fantastic response on the day raising much needed funds.

Thanks also to Jules who ran a sock monkey stall alongside, donating a percentage of sales to the SC.

More season tickets to give away here.

Winners of the 'high score'

Junior section

Lewis Colley and Sheldon Lincoln both tied on 200 points

Adult section

Rob Allen outright winner with 150 points

I have been in contact with all 3 winners informing them that their tickets will be in the post as soon as possible.

Hopefully they will all be back defending their title next year, and we can have an adult with the days highest score!

Next planned event is a music quiz up at the Elms hotel on Friday 23rd May

Teams of a maximum of 4 persons are free to enter at £10/team,not sure of exact format but will likely be 4 rounds of 25 questions so spread the word and lets have a record breaking attendance.

Sponsorship of a round is £20 which provides round winners with a hamper, and again there will be trophies for the overall winners.

There will be a raffle,so anyone wishing to donate a prize can do on the night.

Work on the ground is starting now,so any volunteers for various tasks are needed, you can contact through twitter where i will be adding dates for needed working parties.

That i think is about everything for now, more news as we have it,follow the Supporters Club on twitter @RUFCSC for information, updates, changes etc
