...successful start for Badgers shop.

The Retford United FC club shop had it's official opening for the game against Worksop Town at Cannon Park this afternoon.

Opened by BBC Radio Sheffield afternoon show presenter Howard Pressman, the shop has gone from strength to strength over the last few weeks as supporters and groundhoppers have all popped in for a visit.

Pressman, brother of former Sheffield Wednesday Goalkeeper Kevin, was at the match to watch the Badgers take on Worksop Town, and cut the ribbon to officially open the new addition to Cannon Park.

The shop stocks all new items including Mugs, Stickers, Pin Badges and Scarves, as well as Polo Shirts, Replica Kit and other clothing all available to order.

Another big draw is the all new Programme shop, with hundreds of programmes from all leagues from the Premiership all the way through to non-league.

Pictured are Peter and Jenny Keeton who run the shop along with Howard Pressman as he cuts the ribbon.
