Take the positives from this, Neilly is back, we looked fairly strong at the back again, Bibby did well when he came on, Bobby Johnson had an excellent debut, and there are more where he came from, I hope!!
It obviously hurt to lose that, you could tell by the look on Rich's face, expect us to bounce back strongly for the Liversidge game.
Bad day at the office, put it behind us and move on. Up the Badgers!!!
Defence were very good again. Its only goalscorers that are needed. Plenty of chances created to win the game, but nobody seems to be able to shoot on target.
Has the pitch got anything to do with the problems ??. It looked like someone had cut the grass this week using a flymo,IT LOOKED DISGRACEFUL. When are the club going to buy a decent mower.
Alan, just to let you know we have paid an amount to have the lawn mower repaired, however there is still a problem with it, which should be sorted this week. We have looked into buying a new one but a reconditioned ones start at 3K and a new one at 20K. I have spoke to the Fa about funding this, however they feel that the club should fund this! Back to football, I think we look really strong at the back, and yesterday feel that 0-0 would have been a fair result as neither team deserved to score. We have a few lads missing through injury and when these are back we should look a good unit again. Up the badgers
Can't fault the effort put in week by week. Well done lads.
Passing was generally woeful though! Perhaps after we have beaten Liversedge we should practice that a bit more?
One good thing to come out of the weekend was the performances of Micleover (0-3 at home) and New Mills (1-6 at home!).
Bring one of them on next Sat - need to raise our game but should be a cracker?
Up the Badgers.
