More friendly woes !....
...Robins step in at last minute.
It is with regret that we have to inform supporters of another change to our opponents for tomorrow evening's friendly after we have been told today that Carlton Town were unable to raise a side due to the short notice of the fixture that we arranged with them yesterday.
The club have moved swiftly to ensure a game is on and Ilkeston FC have agreed to send a side, that is expected to feature most of their senior squad, to Cannon Park for a friendly with a revised kick off time of 7.30pm.
We apologise to supporters for the many changes that have been forced upon us over the last few days, but we are delighted to have a game with the first team being out of action until next Tuesday against Wollaton FC in the Notts Senior Cup.
Many thanks for bearing with us, and we look forward to seeing a healthy crowd at the game as we take on one of the Evo-Stik League South title favourites.
