WOLLATON GAME OFF - NEW DATE ANNOUNCED
...FROZEN PITCH CANCELS ORIGINAL TIE
It will come as no surprise that tomorrow's Notts Senior Cup game against Wollaton FC has been postponed.
With the current low temepratures, the snow has not had chance to clear and both clubs are in contact to agree upon a re-arranged date for the fixture.
The match has now been re-arranged for WEDNESDAY 15th FEBRUARY at Cannon Park - kicking off at 7.45pm.

WEDNESDAY ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I thought that the Badgers midweek day for games has always been Tuesdays, why the sudden change?
I note from the Unibond site that all their Notts Senior Cup games have been rescheduled for Tuesday 14th so why not The Badgers?
With the match rearrangement in the Notts Senior Cup there are several factors that need to be considered with both clubs mutually agreeing a date and the availability of match officials.
We asked for the Tuesday but Wollaton were unable to play that date due to player availability (they do not normally play midweek in their league) and the referee was also unavailable for the Tuesday.
It is a rare occurrence that we play Wednesday evenings but on this occasion it has to be the case.
