Minis Newsletter

I would like to start by thanking everone that helped make our minis festival last Sunday another success.

Between the BBQ and the cake stall, we made a profit of £335.

I was approached by a couple of parents suggesting that we form a parent committee to enable us to be better organised in all events that we run of this nature, which is a fantastic idea. The next event we have on our calendar will be our end of season awards day, and parental support can make this so much better.

If you feel that you could help, both this season and next, please email me and we can organise it.

Plant Sale

We are having our annual plant sale to raise funds for rugby development.

If you, your friends or family have a garden or window box, why not buy your plants through the club knowing that all profit will go to help develop your childs rugby.

I have attached the order form to the weekly email which needs to be completed by the 8th May, and they can then be collected by the 20th May at the Barnton clubhouse.

Gum Shields

I have been asked to remind the P3 players that as they are starting to do contact training in the next few weeks in anticipation of next season when they become P4.

Could all parents ensure they have a gum sheild. These are available to buy from me on Sundays in the clubhouse at a cost of £3 each, or can be bought in most sporting goods shops, but are usually more expensive.

Where next?

Big thank you to Livingston RFC from the P6's Big thank you to Livingston RFC from the P6's
