Rhiwbina RFC - The Squirrels!

Rhiwbina RFC have agreed to support the Lord Mayor,s charity, Cancer Research Wales. We are organising a sponsored fancy dress 3 leg race, this event is open to everyone inside and outside the club. It will be started by the Lord Mayor from the club, go on a route to Caedelyn Park and back to the club. On the route there will be five drinking stations where you will be required to drink a glass of lemonade or beer ! There will be awards for 1st adult team, 1st under 12 team, 1st child and adult, 1st over 65 team, best fancy dress, highest sponsorship etc etc. Back at the club there will be a BBQ and entertainment. This is planned to be a good old fashioned family fun day at the club, It would be great if you could encourage your family, friends and work collagues to come along and take part. There is a cost of £5.00 per team, with each team encouraged to raise as much sponsorship as possable. Proceeds from the day will be paid to Cancer Research Wales and will later split 50-50 of profits between them and Rhiwbina RFC Changing Room Fund. Could everyone make a huge effort to support this worthy fund raising event. Registration forms and sponsor forms will be available on line from Cancer Research Wales or from the club in the near future.

what happened to wine for the mums?
We have wine..........it just looks and smells a little like beer !!!!!! And even if it was beer ( it's not ?) a little beer for a good cause can't be that bad......can it ?
Cheers! Have to say it wouldn't be the first time to suffer beer for a good cause, but wine is a little more becoming!
