Concern has been expressed over the lack of attendance by Clubs at our Bi-Monthly Management Meetings. Clubs are reminded that we changed the meetings from monthly to Bi-monthly and that it is the Clubs who determine their delegates to the meetings.
Despite improving the lines of communication to everyone, there does still to be a breakdown with the information relating to the meetings not being passed onto the appropriate personnel within the Club. Some individuals in some of the Clubs has taken it upon themselves to contact the Welsh Rugby Union direct to ask who advises when the meetings take place.
The process of notifying Clubs is the same today as it was back in the early seventies and even before then. That is all correspondence is sent to Club Secretaries who is asked to pass on the relevant documents to any individual who is to represent the Club at the meeting. We have no reason to believe that this action is not being undertaken by the Club Officials concerned.
At our recent meeting questions were raised about our league tables despite the fact that when notification of the meeting was sent out a copy of the latest tables was included in the information pack. We assume that this information is published on the notice boards of the various Club headquarters.
We are currently updating our website to show all the results or any other information currently known regarding the league fixtures, and in turn the appropriate league tables will eventually be updated.
It would however be very much appreciated if member clubs could ensure that they are represented at our bi-monthly meetings to ensure that any additional information can be outlined at that time.
