Rhydymwyn win second friendly over Brymbo

Rhydymwyn faced recently relegated Brymbo at home. With it only being the second friendly of the season Rhydymwyn called up 7 of the U19's team who impressed the team. Game started sloppy with both teams wasting the ball. Brymbo came close with a header hitting the crossbar. 20 minutes in Rhydymwyn started to get the game under control with lovely two touch football causing Brymbo defence problems. The first goal come from a 40 yard free kick which seen Josh Jones long ball in to the box fly straight over the keeper. Josh got his second goal shortly after, with lovely football coming down the left wing the ball fell to Jake Reilly who struck the ball 20 yards out rattling the wood work. Just before half-time Brymbo got a goal to put the pressure back on. Second half kicked off with Rhydymwyn adding more youth to the team, The third goal come from a lovely driven shot in to the top left corner from Josh Cooke. Making the game 3-1, Brymbo got a chance shortly after with a great thru ball which seen young U19 gk Joe Ross make an excellent 1on1 save. Game finished 3-1 great team performance from all lads involved. WE ARE BACK!
