The biggest step in Rhyl FC Academy history working in partnership with Jamie Carragher Sport Academy to deliver football scholarships

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Rhyl FC have produced a partnership with Jamie Carragher Sports Academy which will see us deliver football scholarships to all Rhyl FC Youth team players.

The partnership will include the players studying BTEC Level 1,2 & 3 in Sports at Eirias Park, Colwyn Bay including Sports science, Sports management, Sports Psychology, physiotherapy & much more.

The Students will train 3 times a week as a team during college time & experience high levelled UEFA Qualified Coaching. The side will also play in the college league every wednesday afternoon.

Each month Jamie Carragher will visit the students for a small group chat to see how each student is progressing.

The students will have hands on experience coaching at local schools, clubs & Rhyl FC Academy with opportunities to go abroad and coach different nations.

The Scholarship will see students have the opportunity to play in 3 games a week managed by coaching staff which will be as follows:

College League - Wednesday - Scholars
Clwyd League - Saturday - Under 18s
Welsh Premier Development League - Sunday - Under 19s

The Next Stage we will be holding trial days for all students/players at the age of 16 & 17 years who would like to earn a place on our scholarship program ready for the 2016-2017 season.

Trials Dates - To Be Arranged

This is a huge step for us as we know are able to help our players develop in their footballing careers but also their educational careers and hopefully work towards getting students into university.

We as a football club are extremely proud to be working with such a big organisation and such a big name of the footballing world.

Thanks
