Rovers produced a commanding performance in their penultimate friendly of the season to overpower Ballynahinch by 8-0
The game was played over three 25 minute periods.
Period 1
Rovers dominated the game from the very start and Jack Craig opened the scoring in the third minute with a fine left-footed shot. Rovers continued to press and it was Jack Craig who doubled the visitors lead with a fine shot from the edge of the box.
Rovers nearly went three up just before the end of the first period when a great pass from Josh Boal found Jack Craig who shot narrowly wide.
Ballynahinch 0-2 Ridgeway
Period 2
Adam Close put Ridgeway three ahead in the 27th minute with a neat finish. To their credit Ballynahinch didn’t let their heads drop and got a foothold in the game and enjoyed a little more possession.
In the 49th minute Ethan Boal produced a fine run down the right hand side and squared to Ben Bowman who slotted home to make it 4 nil to Ridgeway.

Period 3
In the final period Rovers totally dominated. Adam Close grabbed his second of the game in the 52nd minute after some fine work by Jack Craig. Less than a minute latter Owen Gettty converted a great cross from Josh Boal to make it 6 nil.
With Rovers in complete control Ethan Boal scored Rovers seventh of the night when he went on a powerful solo run culminating in a crisp finish. Justy Gregg Tobin completed the scoring in the 69th minute with a exquisite lob giving the Ballynahinch keeper no chance.
