Nathan Brown Announces Retirement
RM's Nathan Brown announces retirement with immediate effect
Brown made the announcement on his Facebook account earlier today, to the shock of Oxfordshire football fans everywhere. Several tribute pages immediately sprung up, as the outporing of grief began. Brown's appearances this season have been sporadic, and his 're-fuelling' between games has been called into question.
A club spokesman said: "We'd like to take this opportunity to thank Nathan for his service over the years. Whilst it's fair to say that his performances have been dissapointing for some time, he'll be hard to replace - although several of the Steventon U14 side will probably slot in with no noticable difference. Of more pressing concern is who will take on the responsibilty of organising the end of season 'do', after Browny's attempt with last years fiasco. Anyone interested is urged to contact the club through the usual means"
