To everyone who gave up their time and energy to come down to the club for our Nat West Rugby Force weekend,
firstly I do hope you’re not aching to much and I’m sure those blisters, scratches and sunburn will soon go.

Seriously I would like to say a massive thank you for the tremendous effort you all put in, what was achieved over the weekend was far beyond what I think any of us thought could be achieved in two days.
If you get to see the before and after photos it just goes to show what can be done with a bit of team spirit and people prepared to put the effort in to support their club, not just the road but all those other jobs Plumbing, Electrical, painting and more, marvelous.

Over the weekend I did say that when you start thanking people by name you always run the risk of forgetting someone and maybe causing offence but I must mention a few, Gary, Jayn and Pete S for the main organising of materials, tools, plan of action etc, it all seemed to go like clockwork from feeding and watering everyone to a job well done.

I would like to say a special thank you to Gary Barber who put in a massive amount of work filling in forms putting the plan together not once but twice as it was a two stage competition, which allowed our club to win the funding for us to carry out the work. Then he took on the organising of the event. Well done Gary and thank you very much.

Now I know some of you couldn’t make it down and I’m sure feel disappointed you missed out on a great event, but fear not we’re already talking about next year same place time might be different.
