1. Introduction :
The Rockingham Rugby Union Football Club Inc. (RRUFC) has been established in the Rockingham area for over 30 years and provides a service to the community by the way of the sport of Rugby Union.
With state of the art facilities at the new Lark Hill Sporting Complex, the RRUFC consists of 229 junior and 154 senior members in the BankWest WA Rugby Union Football Competition.
The club fields junior teams at all age groups from 6 years up to U/16 years. U/18 teams play I the senior competition along with the 4th grade, 2nd, Reserve and Premier teams.
All types of fitness, socials skills, teamwork and comradeship are promoted by the Club through qualified coaches and management.
The RRUFC is seeking sponsors to assist in the continued development and growth in attracting more players within and introducing players from overseas.
Our regular season competes from April till late September, with the Touch Rugby competing all year round.
2. Marketing Objectives :
• Obtain Corporate Sponsors for the RRUFC
• Raise the profile of Rugby Union in Rockingham community & Peel Region

3. Components of the Sponsorship Package :
The spectator area layout at the clubs Lark Hill grounds provide many high visibility positions where sponsors are able to display their businesses advertising, ensuring value for money and recognition of involvement in the club by the wider community.

4. Value of Sponsorship to the Sponsor
By sponsoring the RRUFC it gives a unique opportunity to be involved in grass roots rugby union in Rockingham and forge a mutually benefiting relationship with an amateur sporty body.
The sponsor would experience great exposure of their brand at all rugby union fixtures over the 2011 season at our ground, jersey marketing, advertising print, and internal member recognition.
Our sponsor will receive a personal invitation to the end of year recognition dinner with premier players, and reflect on a season passed.
5. Strategic Plan
Committee :
Our mission statement to our members and supporters is : to manage, serve and promote the game of rugby union in the Rockingham area at all levels; to assist members, players, coaches and participants in their various forms of involvement; to adhere to all laws of the game; and to encourage and facilitate the involvement of as many people as possible in rugby activities.
Senior Rugby :
Our aim is to create and support the infrastructure, to develop players and coaches skill sets and to create opportunities for players on and off the field. This will develop the loyalty from players and coaches that is required to create leadership groups and to enable us to build a winning and enjoyable rugby culture.
Junior Rugby :
We aim to create a vibrant, well respected and co-ordinated junior club, which promotes a positive rugby experience for all involved, outlining a clear pathway to colt and senior rugby.
Colts and Youth Development :
We aim to create an environment where players at the transitional age of 18 – 20 can have access to superior coaching methods and are provided with the best possible opportunity to fulfill their potential.
Volunteer Recruitment and Management :
It is imperative that we establish a volunteer program that is well organized and equipped, and in which can contribute without excessive demands. It is also important that volunteers feel valued and know there is a goal for our club – as this is the key motivator in attracting additional volunteers.
Community Awareness Brand :
Rockingham Rugby Union Football Club is a group of players and club members committed to improving everyone associated with our club and our community.
Development of our community awareness, profile of the club and its brand all contribute to its ongoing success, growth and better opportunities for players, new members and the maximum support and exposure for our club sponsors.
Sponsorship :
We aim to develop a recognized portfolio of sponsorship, adding value to its supporters, and its importance that all sponsors are dealt with in a professional manner.
Networking :
This will be a major focus with sponsors utilizing each others expertise. We will promote our sponsors using a business register and business directory within the club. In addition, our members with get value from a loyal club orientated sponsor.
