Past Overseas Players
2010 - Graham "Billy" Murray (All-rounder)
Clubs - Wellington (New Zealand)
Arguably our most gifted overseas player, but it would be fair to say that the motivation didn't match the ability. First class experience with Wellington and an ideal style for our conditions. Still can't believe that he only got 26 wkts and never made a hundred. A colourful character, but not sure that we'll see him again!
2009 - James Holliday (Right arm medium/fast bowler)
Clubs - University of Queensland (Brisbane)
"Doc" settled very comfortably into life at The Rock. After a slow start (he'd never bowled on such a slow track!) he performed well and even chipped in with a few valuable runs. Our most popular overseas player who will be remembered for his fantastic work with the juniors (and that over that he bowled to Stan Redhead!)
